A new patient appointment generally lasts for about an hour and a half. We take an exam, X-rays, intraoral pictures, an oral cancer screening, and give consultation.
Before you leave, you should go ahead and make your next appointment so that it is already on the calendar! For most patients, six months between appointments is ideal. In rare instances, we might ask that you come in more often so that we can keep an eye on a particularly troublesome aspect of your oral health.
